Andorra La Vella

Not only is Andorra La Vella Europe's highest capital city, it is also the only capital city that you can access over 300kms of ski runs in two extensive world class ski areas within 8 kms and under 15 minutes of the centre. Regular ski buses link Andorra La Vella to Vallnord (the ski bus is free) and also to Encamp (for Grandvalira - there is a small charge to pay). Or visit Naturlandia for cross country skiing and the fabulous Tobertronic a mountain roller coaster for the whole family!

This summer relax and free your mind high up in the open mountain pastures of Andorra. Walk the famous Rutal del Ferro, climb up to the Tristaina lakes or explore the wild remote Val D'Incles. For moluntain activities visit the Vallnord Mountain Park, discover the Grandvalira on cable cars, paths, zip lines and 4x4 buses. Have an adventure at Naturlandia Andorra's adventure park above Sant Julia with Europe's longest mountain roller coster, archery, 4x4 buggies, climbing and the animal park with big mountain cats and bears. 

In the evening wander down Avinguda Meritxell for some tax free shopping or pop in to one of the many bars and restaurants for a drink and tapas or take advantage of Caldea, southern Europes largest spa (see below)

Caldea

Since it opened in 1994, Andorra's Caldea spa with it’s revolutionary thermal spring leisure concept and its spectacular facilities have turned it into one of the Principality's leading attractions in Andorra (after the ski slopes). It is currently the largest spa centre in Southern Europe: over 30,000 m2 to relax and free your mind and body in a stress-free atmosphere. 

Thermal waters for fun

The Caldea spa centre is an innovative and original spa, as its Escaldes-Engordany facilities combine the concepts of wellness, health and fun, to offer “thermal spa leisure”. Natural waters, which feature prominently, gush from the earth at 70 ºC and are rich in sulphur (S) and other mineral elements, such as sodium (Na), sulphates (SO4) and calcium (Ca), among others. Some of its health benefits include its healing, decongestant and anti-allergy qualities. 

But the real innovation is the way visitors can enjoy the thermal spring waters. Waterfalls, jacuzzis, hydromassage jets and many other forms of application, offering instant relaxation and wellness. Caldea can be visited by the whole family – while Innu on the upper floors is adults only.
