Cardiff

Cardiff is the capital city of the principality of Wales. It is a compact friendly capital situated right on the waterfront. Visit Cardiff Castle a medieval castle and Victorian Gothic revival mansion located in the city centre that dates from way back in the 11th century. Wander around the Bay, taking a drink and tapas or for the more adventurous a fast speed boat ride. Feel the power of the national government in the Senedd Buiding. There’s nowhere on earth like Cardiff on international rugby day. Yes, there are things that come close. We get pretty excited when our national football team is in town, or a boxing world title is at stake. It’s thrilling when Beyoncé or the Rolling Stones are rocking the city. But for a unique global cultural experience, it has to be rugby, it has to be the Principality Stadium, and it has to be Cardiff. There’s nothing like it!

Our top recommendations for the cities restaurants are 'Giovanni's' (the Hayes) an award-winning Italian restaurant known for its delicious, delicate recipes. A great atmosphere every evening with warm and friendly service from all of the staff.

If you want to try white water rafting then surprisingly Cardiff can offer this to you with its unique watersport centre. Experience the rush and excitement as you fly down the rapids either on a 'boogie-board' or with your friends in a raft. You can also Canoe, kayak or try to stand up paddleboarding in the centre. Why not let your kids try out the 'Air trail' climbing through obstacles through the air over the water.
