The Skiing

From St Sorlin the Balme chairlift opens up La Balme with it's mainly blue pistes. There are a couple of reds which drop down to the Boulevard blue run back to the village. Two chairlifts from the village open up the summit of Les 3 Lacs - the highest point in the ski area at 2620m - blues, reds and a steep black drop down to St Sorlin. From the top of Les 3 Lacs - take the blue down to Chalets d'Olle. The chairlift up to L'Ouillon opens up either the Toussuire or to the left Corbier.

Toussuire is a wide bowl with blues and reds all dropping back down to the resort. Le Corbier is a wide open mountain face with blues and reds that span across and drop back down to Le Corbier. A long blue from Pointe du Corbier drops over 700 vertical metres down to St Jean d'Arves

From the top of L'Ouillon a series of lifts and blue pistes drop down over 1300 vertical metres down  to St Colomban des Villards.

Les Sybelles is a quieter alternative to big French resort skiing. Give it a go you'll be as pleasently surprised as we were!
