Llandudno

Holiday destination to hundreds, every year tourists flock the beaches of North Wales. But if it is a quiet beach you’re after why not visit Talacre beach just a short drive from the popular seaside town Prestatyn. Or for a beautiful white sandy beach with sand dunes head over to Morfa Conwy beach. With views of Llandudno and just a short drive from the Conway Marina.

 

 

How can we forget to mention Llandudno? A pretty seaside town. The town known for its 2 beaches West shore and North shore beach. Its pier and beautiful seafront attracts many to enjoy all the shopping, food and drink that is on offer. The Great Orme a lovely walk to see the whole town from a different angle. If you do not want to walk up why not take the cable car or tram. Llandudno has everything to offer there is even a dry slope who does not want to ski or snowboard in Wales? West shore known to be a great spot for kitesurfing, watch them take to the air flying in all shapes and colours through the water, flipping and jumping this is truly something to see.

 

Why North Wales?

North wales known for its mighty castles, here are some of the ones we think are worth the visit; Aberlliniog castle, Beaumaris castle, Bodelwyddan castle, Caernarfon castle, Chirk castle, Conway castle, Criccieth castle, Denbigh castle, Dolwydden castle in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Harlech castle and one of the most known Welsh castles Gwrych castle. Home to the ITV show ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!’ Explore the castles for the history of each one and learn some ancient truths about the country.

If you are looking for a walking holiday, then look no further. With thousands of miles across North wales with paths such as – The Offa’s Dyke path, The Snowdonia range with hundreds of walks of various technicalities. To the shorter but still beautiful walk Swallow falls.

 

For the Adrenaline junkies.

Why not get your hearts racing by mountain biking down some of the best trails in the UK. North Wales has 4 main mountain biking trails. The One Planet Adventure centre in Llandegla has 4 different tracks – a green run 5km, blue 12km, red 18km and the black 21km. Coed y Brenin offers 8 different trails of 10km of green runs, 12km blue, over 50km of red runs and a massive 75km of black runs. Still want more. Antur Stiniog has some of the best trails in the UK with 13 different trail and a service of bringing you back up the mountain in a taxi!
