At the moment (December 2020) the UK Government's Foreign Office is advising against international travel to many countries due to the current Corona Virus situation. The reality is that travel throughout Europe is safe. Snow is falling, flights are running, hotels are open and some ski areas are now open for the winter mainly in Switzerland and Bulgaria.
