Arriving into Barcelona Airport or travelling from Barcelona you have the choice of buses, car rental or the train which follows the beautiful Costa Dorada coastline with stations in all the coastal resorts inc Sitges, Cunit, Taragona, Salou and L'Ampolla. From Reus there are regular Airport buses that connect with Reus, Taragona and Barcelona.
Rental Cars
The easiest, most flexible and quickest way to travel around Costa Dorada is by car. The roads are very good and clearly signed. Each resort and town has charging points for electric and hybrid cars. Take care when renting a car that you have adequate insurance. Buying insurance from the rental company is expensive but it does offer peace of mind.
Taxis
If you don't like driving taxi's are plentiful throughout Costa Dorada. Each town and resort has a taxi rank. Offical taxis are white with an organe official line down the front doors and on the bonnet. They have a 'Taxi' sign on the roof - illumintaed green means available, red not available!
Buses
Costa Dorada has an efficient bus service which serves all the resorts from all the main towns and cities. Many of the beaches are also served by buses. Bus stops are clearly marked with red and yellow. timetables and destinations shown at each stop and each bus has the final destination clearly shown on the front.

Trains
There are regular trains down to Tarragona from Barcelona - around 4 each hour. The journey takes approxiamately 1 hour 15 minutes. For train times look here
